IGCSE Support
Curriculum-matched tutoring for IGCSE learners across core subjects and levels.
Tutoring aligned to IGCSE
PRISM matches a tutor with genuine IGCSE experience, so lessons mirror your school's content, terminology and assessment style rather than a generic syllabus.
Who it's for. Years 10–11 learners (roughly ages 14–16) in British-system schools.
Stages and levels. A two-year Year 10–11 programme leading to terminal exams.
Awarding organisations. IGCSE is a qualification delivered by awarding organisations: Cambridge International (IGCSE), Pearson Edexcel (International GCSE) and Oxford AQA (International GCSE). We match a tutor to your exact awarding organisation.
How it differs. Cambridge, Edexcel and Oxford AQA differ in papers, tiering (Foundation/Higher in some subjects) and calculator/non-calculator rules. IGCSE is the international sibling of the UK GCSE.
Assessment. Mostly terminal external exams; some subjects include practicals, orals or coursework.
- Confusing awarding-organisation specifications
- Foundation vs Higher tier choices
- Timed past-paper practice and mark-scheme wording
How a plan works
We confirm the exact board and level, identify where the learner needs support, and match a tutor who knows IGCSE well. A short plan sets the pace and checkpoints.
